About me

Hi, I am Sverre. Today I work as a technical consultant and systems developer, but the road here went through the workshop, the production line and the process plant. That gives me a slightly different angle on digitalization than many other developers.

I am a qualified electrician with 20 years of experience from service work and industry. Along the way I have worked as a refrigeration technician, in-house industrial electrician and process engineer. That means a lot of time on the factory floor - and a good sense of what works in practice.

What I do now

In 2025 I went independent to combine that practical industry experience with modern development and automation. I help businesses build solutions that both work technically and make sense in a busy working day.

That can be anything from custom web applications and API integrations, to automating manual processes with Python and n8n, to IoT monitoring of process equipment. The point is always the same: making the working day a little easier.

A maker approach

I believe in building things myself in order to understand them. My home lab runs on its own cluster hosting Gitea, monitoring, MCP servers and containers. So when I propose a solution to you, I have usually tested it myself first — and I know what needs maintenance when the power comes back on a Monday morning.
